1. Initial inspection, including:

(1) Construction inspection of newly built yachts;

(2) Initial inspection of existing yachts.

2. Inspection after construction, including:

(1) Annual inspection;

(2) Upper row/in-dock inspection.

(3) Temporary inspection.

Issuance of certificates:

All yachts applying for inspection shall be issued a "Yacht Certificate" after the initial inspection is completed and meets the requirements of this requirement.

The validity period of the certificate shall not exceed 5 years.

3. The interval of post-construction inspection:

(1). Yachts that have obtained the required certificates shall undergo post-construction inspections at the required intervals and specified contents.

(2). The annual inspection should be carried out within 3 months before and after each week of the completion, commissioning or renewal inspection date. After passing the inspection, the surveyor shall sign the corresponding certificate to confirm that the certificate continues to be valid within the prescribed period of action.

(3). The upper row/in-dock inspection should be no less than 2 times within 5 years, and the longest interval should be no more than 3 years, but one of them should be carried out during the annual inspection. After passing the inspection, the surveyor will sign the corresponding certificate to confirm that the certificate continues to be valid within the specified period.

4. The yacht should apply for a temporary inspection when one of the following situations occurs. After passing the inspection, the surveyor shall sign on the corresponding certificate to confirm that the certificate continues to be valid within the specified period:

(1) When an accident occurs that affects the seaworthiness of the yacht;

(2) When changing the purpose or sailing area specified in the yacht certificate;

(3) When the certificate becomes invalid;

(4) When the owner or operator of the yacht changes or the port of registry changes;

(5) When repairing or modifying the yacht safety.

5. If the yacht fails to comply with the operating conditions specified in the certificate or fails to conduct post-construction inspections in accordance with the regulations, the certificate will automatically become invalid.
